Here are some different ways to bind your finished job:
Hole Punching is always an option if you are planning on putting the document into a binder. Please let us know ahead of time so that we can set the machine up to run your job properly with 2 or 3 holes.
Fold and Staple or Saddle Stitch Booklet Binding is also a service we provide. This finishing technique creates a folded booklet that has two staples down the spine (middle).
Spiral or Plastic Comb Binding is a popular choice for a lot of documents. This binding creates a bound book that can be opened again if changes are needed in the future. It works well with odd sized documents that need to be bound. It is also the best choice for thick documents because of the ease at which it allows you to turn the pages. This binding comes with a clear or color cardstock cover, as well as a black backing.
Velo Binding is an option for a finished book with a flat bound edge. Two plastic strips are applied to the front and back of the book with binding pegs attaching them. Due to the nature of this binding, the finished book will not open flat and requires prior planning with an inside margin of at least 1 inch. This binding comes with a clear or color cardstock cover and a black backing.
Coil Binding (similar to a spiral bound notebook) is a plastic binding that is great for professional looking documents. It does not work well with odd sized documents, but possible if you are flexible with a finished size. This binding is very durable and comes with a clear or color cardstock cover as well as a black backing.
There are two different styles of lamination that we can use to complete your job. For most standard size documents we have a sheet fed machine that will incase each page in a thick durable lamination. This can be anything small to an 11x17". For items that are larger, we have a roll fed machine that can laminate documents up to 22” wide by how ever long. This style is a thinner more flexible lamination that can be rolled for storage. Please call ahead for this lamination so that we can start warming up the machine for you.
FOAM CORE MOUNTING
This finishing style is great for posters, presentations, and hand held examples. We can foam core mount all standard paper sizes as well as large format items. Please contact us about a quote and the turnaround time for your project.
